California Foothill Pine (Pinus Sabiniana)

Pinus Sabiniana, or more commonly know as California Foothill Pine, is a tree with green foliage and yellow flowers of the genus Pinus. It has a slow growth rate and a height of 80 feet at maturity. It’s duration is perennial which means it will grow year after year. It’s active growth period is spring and summer, blooms during early spring, is intolerant of shade and is routinely available commercially. Pinus Sabiniana or California Foothill Pine‘s floral region is North America US Lower 48, specifically in the states of California and Oregon.
