California Wildrose (Rosa Californica)
Rosa Californica, or more commonly known as California Wildrose, is a subshrub with green foliage and red flowers of the genus Rosa. It has a rapid growth rate and a height of 10 feet at maturity. Its duration is perennial which means it will grow year after year. Its active growth period is spring summer fall, blooms during summer, is somewhat tolerant of shade and is routinely available commercially.
