Common Pear (Pyrus Communis)

Pyrus Communis, or more commonly known as Common Pear, is a tree with green foliage and white flowers of the genus Pyrus. It has a rapid growth rate and a height of 50 feet at maturity. Its duration is perennial which means it will grow year after year. Its active growth period is spring and summer, blooms during early spring and is intolerant of shade. Pyrus Communis or Common Pear’s floral region is North America US Lower 48, specifically in the states of Alabama, Arkansas, California, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Maryland, Maine, Michigan, Missouri, Mississippi, Montana, North Carolina, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Vermont, Washington and Wisconsin.
