Harrington’s Beardtongue (Penstemon Harringtonii)

Penstemon Harringtonii, or more commonly known as Harrington’s Beardtongue, is a forb/herb (a forb/herb is a plant that is neither woody nor a grass) of the genus Penstemon. Its duration is perennial which means it will grow year after year. Penstemon Harringtonii or Harrington’s Beardtongue’s floral region is North America US Lower 48, specifically in the state of Colorado.

  1. I believe we have Harrington’s growing along our roadside. It is threatened by invasive weeds. Can we get help controling the weeds? What other information can you give me about the plant? Is it protected?
