Abelmoschus, or more commonly know as Okra, is of the genus Abelmoschus. Abelmoschus or Okra‘s floral region is North America US Lower 48, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and The Virgin Islands, specifically in the states of Connecticut, Florida, Hawaii, Illinois, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia.
