
Yellow Buckeye (Aesculus Flava)
Aesculus Flava, or more commonly known as Yellow Buckeye, is a tree shrub with green foliage and yellow flowers of the genus Aesculus. It has a moderate growth rate and a height of 65 feet at maturity. Its duration is perennial which means it will grow year after year. Its active growth period is spring and summer, blooms during late spring, is tolerant of shade and is routinely available commercially. Aesculus Flava or Yellow Buckeye’s floral region is North America US Lower 48, specifically in the states of Alabama, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, Mississippi, North Carolina, New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia.
